DMCA & Copyright Policy
Last updated: April 24, 2026
1. Our Commitment to Copyright
Zidividz respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the creators who use our platform to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to valid copyright infringement notices.
Zidividz operates as a hosting platform for original creator content. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512 of the DMCA, we qualify for Safe Harbor protection, meaning we are not liable for infringing content uploaded by users — provided we respond to valid takedown notices in a timely manner and maintain a repeat infringer policy.
2. How to File a Copyright Claim
If you believe content on Zidividz infringes your copyright, you have two ways to notify us:
Use the Report button directly on any video and select "Copyrighted material". This opens a guided DMCA form that captures all required information and routes your claim directly to our moderation team.
Your claim will appear in our admin queue immediately. We aim to review all claims within 5–7 business days.
Option B — Email Notice
You may also send a written takedown notice to dmca@zidividz.com. Your notice must include all of the following:
- •Your full legal name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- •A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g. song title, ISRC code, URL to original work).
- •The specific URL(s) on Zidividz where the infringing material appears.
- •A description of where the infringing content appears within the video (e.g. timestamps, screenshots).
- •A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- •A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
- •Your physical or electronic signature.
3. What Happens After You File
We receive your claim
Our moderation team is notified immediately. We aim to review all claims within 5–7 business days.
We evaluate the claim
We review whether the claim meets DMCA requirements. Incomplete or bad-faith notices will be dismissed.
We take action (if valid)
If your claim is valid, we will take the action you requested — removing the video, muting audio, or restricting access — and notify the content creator.
Creator may file a counter-notice
The creator has the right to file a counter-notice disputing your claim. If they do, we will notify you. If no legal action is initiated within 10–14 business days, we may restore the content.
4. Counter-Notice Process
If your content was removed as a result of a copyright claim and you believe the removal was made in error — for example because you have a license, your use is protected as fair use, or the material is in the public domain — you may file a counter-notice.
Send your counter-notice to dmca@zidividz.com with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice". Your counter-notice must include:
- •Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.
- •Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal.
- •A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- •A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the original claimant.
- •Your physical or electronic signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original claimant. If the claimant does not initiate a court action within 10–14 business days of receiving the counter-notice, we may restore the content at our discretion.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and our commitment to Safe Harbor protection, Zidividz maintains a strict repeat infringer policy. Accounts that receive multiple valid copyright strikes may be subject to:
- •Temporary suspension of upload privileges
- •Permanent account termination
- •Forfeiture of any pending earnings
A "valid copyright strike" means a DMCA notice that was not successfully countered by the account holder.
6. Abuse of the DMCA Process
Filing a false DMCA notice — knowingly claiming copyright you do not hold — constitutes perjury under U.S. law and may expose you to civil liability. Zidividz reserves the right to terminate accounts that submit repeated bad-faith or fraudulent copyright notices.
7. DMCA Agent Contact
All DMCA notices and counter-notices should be directed to our designated DMCA agent:
